Incident Overview
A pilot operating a personal cross-country flight experienced a wheels-up landing after becoming distracted during the before-landing checklist. The pilot was familiar with the destination airport and its procedures, having flown there many times previously.
Sequence of Events
While completing the before-landing checklist, the pilot was distracted by conversation from the passengers. As a result, the pilot did not hear the gear warning horn and failed to realize the landing gear was still retracted. The aircraft subsequently impacted the runway with the gear up.

The accident resulted in substantial damage to the fuselage. No injuries were reported among the occupants.
Pilot Actions and Briefing
Earlier in the flight, the pilot had briefed the passengers about maintaining a sterile cockpit environment during the landing phase. Despite this briefing, the distraction occurred. The pilot reported no mechanical anomalies associated with the accident.
