What happened
On November 16, 2012, at approximately 08:13 local time, a Beech BE-55 bearing registration ZP-BLV crashed near a ranch in Departamento Presidente Hayes, Paraguay. The aircraft was flying from Silvio Pettirossi International Airport (SGAS) in Asuncion under Paraguayan flight regulations.
During the approach, the aircraft impacted terrain roughly 500 meters short of the runway. The accident occurred about 50 kilometers northwest of Concepcion. Visual meteorological conditions were present at the time of the accident. The crash resulted in 3 fatal injuries to the pilot and two passengers.
