Circumstances
A pilot, approaching an airport for landing, attempted to contact the airport for traffic advisories but received no response. She overflew the airport to observe the windsocks located at each end of the runway and decided to land on runway 14. The airport's weather system reported wind from 340 degrees at 10 knots at the time of the accident.
Landing and Accident Sequence
During the landing roll, the airplane made a sudden turn to the right. It exited the right side of the runway and came to rest on the grass. The left wing sustained substantial damage during the accident sequence.
Mechanical Status
The pilot reported no mechanical failures or malfunctions with the airframe or engine that would have precluded normal operation.
