Accident Details
The pilot reported that during the landing roll to runway 12, a gust of wind caused the airplane to "weather vane" to the right. Despite applying rudder to correct, the pilot was unable to maintain directional control. Subsequently, the tail began to rise and the airplane nosed over on the right side of the runway. The upper wings and the vertical stabilizer sustained substantial damage.

The pilot stated that there were no mechanical anomalies with the airplane prior to the accident. The pilot reported the wind as 160 degrees at 12 knots, gusting to 16 knots.
