Accident Summary
A pilot reported that ice was present on the airplane's wings just prior to landing. The pilot activated the de-ice boots and proceeded with the landing. During the landing flare, approximately 12 feet above the ground, the airplane experienced buffeting and the nose lowered. The pilot added full power to initiate a go-around, at which point the airplane stalled and the left wing impacted the ground. The pilot then reduced power; the airplane touched down onto the runway and skidded off the left side before coming to a rest.
