Incident Overview
On January 5, 2014, at approximately 1900 universal coordinated time, a Piper PA-32RT-300T aircraft, bearing Venezuelan registration YV2070, experienced a total loss of engine power. The pilot executed an emergency landing on a road. The aircraft was operated by a private individual and had departed from Aeropuerto Internacional Del Caribe, Margarita, Edo Nueva Esparta (SVMG). The flight was conducted under Venezuelan flight regulations.

The pilot was not injured in the incident. No other occupants were reported on board.
