What happened
On December 4, 2014, at 10:45 UTC, a Schweizer 269C-1 helicopter, registered CS-HFD, crashed into terrain near Ponte de Sôr, Portugal. The aircraft was operating an instructional flight for Escola de Aviação Aerocondor at the time of the accident. The impact resulted in 2 fatalities, involving the instructor pilot and the student pilot. The helicopter was destroyed during the event. At the time of the accident, visual meteorological conditions were present, and no flight plan had been filed for the flight.
