Accident Details
According to the pilot's report, while on final approach, he noticed that his airspeed was too high. After touching down long on the runway, he added power in an attempt to execute a go-around. However, the airplane did not reach flying speed before departing the end of the runway.
Subsequently, the airplane impacted terrain and sustained substantial damage to both wings, the fuselage, and the engine compartment.
