What happened
On August 4, 2014, an aviation incident occurred at the Depułtycze Królewskie (EPCD) aerodrome involving a Cessna 152. The event was characterized by an oil leak originating from the engine crankcase.
The investigation
The investigation was assigned to the CAMO organization. During the review of information submitted in February 2016, investigators found that the available data was insufficient to determine the underlying cause of the leak. Because the management contract for the aircraft involved in the incident had been terminated, the investigating organization was unable to gather further details or supplement the existing records to complete a full technical analysis.
