Accident Details
On March 14, 2015, about 1145 UTC, an Eipper Quicksilver GT-500 airplane, registered EC-DK6 (serial number 0085), crashed after an attempted go-around from Son Alberti Airfield in the Balearic Islands, Spain. The aircraft sustained substantial damage, and the sole occupant was fatally injured.
Investigation
The investigation is under the jurisdiction of the Spanish Civil Aviation and Incident Investigation Commission (CIAIAC). As the state of design, the United States designated an accredited representative to participate in the investigation, in accordance with Annex 13 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation.
