Accident Details
On November 14, 2015, at 1157 UTC, a Cessna 172 aircraft with Spanish registration EC-HKH collided with the water in Astondo Bay, located off the coast of Gorliz, Spain. The accident occurred following a loss of engine power. The flight was a local personal flight that had originated from Bilbao Airport (LEBB) in Bilbao, Spain.
Injuries
The pilot and one passenger sustained minor injuries, while a second passenger received serious injuries. No other injuries were reported.
