Notification and Investigation
The Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand notified the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of an accident involving a Eurocopter AS350BA helicopter on November 21, 2015. In accordance with ICAO Annex 13 provisions, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the New Zealand Transport Accident Investigation Commission (TAIC) with the investigation.
