What happened
On February 03, 2016, an accident occurred involving a Sikorsky S76C helicopter, registration 5N-BQJ, in Lagos, Nigeria. The Nigeria Accident Investigation Bureau (NAIB) notified the NTSB of the event. There were no fatalities and no injuries reported in the initial notification.
As the State of Manufacturer and Design, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the NAIB investigation in accordance with ICAO Annex 13. All investigative details are to be released by the NAIB.
