The NTSB is assisting Indonesian authorities with an investigation into a Boeing 737 accident that occurred in February 2016.

The government of Indonesia notified the NTSB of an accident involving a Boeing 737, registration PK-LFG, which took place on February 20, 2016, in Surabaya, Indonesia. There were no fatalities and no injuries reported in relation to this event.

Under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to support the ongoing investigation led by the Indonesian government. All investigative findings are to be released by the Indonesian authorities.
