Incident Overview
On September 29, 2016, an incident occurred involving a BAE Systems (Operations) Limited Avro 146-RJ100 aircraft. The Swedish Accident Investigation Authority has notified the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of this occurrence.
Investigation Framework
The notification was made under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, which governs international standards for aircraft accident and incident investigation. As the State of Manufacturer and Design of airplane components, the United States has been invited to participate through the appointment of an Accredited Representative.
Role of the Accredited Representative
