What happened

On October 2, 2016, a Boeing 737-400 operated by Enter Air was climbing through FL220 after departing from Palma de Mallorca (LEPA). During this phase of flight, the crew observed a LOW OIL PRESSURE warning light on the electrical panel, indicating low oil pressure within the number 1 generator drive.

In accordance with established procedures, the crew executed the appropriate checklist, which involved disconnecting the number 1 generator drive. To maintain electrical stability, the crew started the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) and transferred the APU generator to the number 1 generator bus.
