NTSB Assists Venezuela in Beech 58 Accident Investigation

Overview of the Incident and Investigation Role The government of Venezuela notified the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of an accident involving a Beech 58 airplane. The incident occurred on January 28, 2017. In response to the notification, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the government of Venezuela in its investigation of the accident. This assistance is being provided under the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, which governs international accident investigation cooperation. ## Information Release All investigative information related to the accident will be released by the government of Venezuela.
