Accident Details
The pilot of a tailwheel-equipped biplane reported that during the landing roll, the aircraft began to veer to the right. The pilot attempted to regain directional control, but the biplane continued to veer and subsequently entered a ground loop.
Damage
As a result of the ground loop, the bottom of the left wing impacted the ground, and the left main landing gear collapsed. The biplane sustained substantial damage to the left wing.
Mechanical Condition
The pilot stated that there were no preaccident mechanical failures or malfunctions with the biplane that would have precluded normal operation.
