During landing roll, a tailwheel biplane veered right and ground looped, causing the left wing to impact the ground and the left main landing gear to collapse.

Accident Details

The pilot of a tailwheel-equipped biplane reported that during the landing roll, the aircraft began to veer to the right. The pilot attempted to regain directional control, but the biplane continued to veer and subsequently entered a ground loop.

Damage

As a result of the ground loop, the bottom of the left wing impacted the ground, and the left main landing gear collapsed. The biplane sustained substantial damage to the left wing.
