ATSB Notifies NTSB of 2018 Boeing 717 Incident

Incident Notification and International Cooperation The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) has notified the U.S. National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of an incident involving a Boeing 717 aircraft. The incident occurred on February 5, 2018. In accordance with the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, the NTSB has appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to assist the government of Australia in its investigation of the event. ## Information Release All investigative information related to the incident will be released by the ATSB. The NTSB's role is limited to providing assistance through the appointed representative, with the ATSB retaining responsibility for the investigation and subsequent release of findings.
