On May 2, 2018, an Agusta Bell AB206B helicopter, registered as F-HGJL, was involved in an accident near Cacao, French Guiana. The accident resulted in 2 fatalities and 1 serious injury.
What happened
Following the occurrence of the accident, the government of France notified the NTSB. The investigation is being conducted by the French authorities, with a U.S. Accredited Representative appointed to assist under ICAO Annex 13 provisions. All investigative details are to be released by the government of France.
