Incident Details
On August 29, at approximately 1804 local time, a Piper PA32-300 airplane, registration N3073W, operated by Wings of Hope, experienced a hard landing at Sir Barry Bowen Municipal Airport in Belize City, Belize. The aircraft had originated from San Pedro Airport prior to the incident.
Investigation
The investigation is under the jurisdiction and control of the Belize Department of Civil Aviation (BDCA). In accordance with Annex 13 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation, as the State of Design, the United States has designated an accredited representative to participate in the investigation.
