What happened
On June 29, 2019, a Beech 95, registration N998DM, was in flight near Navasota, Texas, under visual meteorological conditions with 10 statute mile visibility. Approximately three minutes after the aircraft had leveled off, a black vulture struck the windscreen. Following the impact, the pilot returned the aircraft to the airport and landed safely.
The incident resulted in 2 minor injuries and 0 fatalities. The aircraft sustained substantial damage to the windscreen.
