Colombian Boeing 737 Accident Investigation

Notification and Appointment of Representative The government of Colombia informed the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of an accident involving a Boeing 737 aircraft that occurred on November 23, 2019. In response, the NTSB appointed a U.S. Accredited Representative to support the Colombian government's investigation. This appointment was made in accordance with the provisions of ICAO Annex 13, which governs international accident investigations. ## Information Release All investigative information related to the accident will be released by the government of Colombia. The NTSB's role is limited to providing assistance through the appointed representative, with Colombia retaining primary responsibility for the investigation and dissemination of findings.
