What happened
During a local agricultural mission involving crop spraying, a single-engine aircraft departed from the Pinar del Río-La Coloma Airport. The flight was carrying a crew of two along with three passengers at the time of the accident. As the plane began its initial climb, it encountered heavy fog that significantly restricted visibility. During this ascent phase, the aircraft collided with a water tower and subsequently crashed.
