What happened

During the landing phase at RAF Limavady, the aircraft's undercarriage failed immediately after touchdown. The structural failure caused the support system to collapse, leading to a loss of stability on the runway surface. Following the initial impact, the airframe slid along the pavement before eventually coming to a complete stop. Despite the severity of the mechanical failure and the subsequent slide, all five crew members on board were reported unhurt. The incident resulted in the aircraft being declared damaged beyond repair.
