What happened
The incident occurred while the flight crew was conducting a training mission on behalf of the 10th Radio School, which is based at RAF Carew Cheriton. At the time of the accident, the aircraft was cruising in good weather conditions off the coast of Ireland. Following the crash, personnel from a nearby fishing boat responded to the scene. They were able to recover one body from the water. The remaining three occupants of the aircraft were not recovered and are listed as lost. The individuals involved in the mission were identified as members of the 10th Radio School crew.
