What happened
During the enroute phase of flight, the aircraft experienced a simultaneous failure of both engines. This critical mechanical issue forced the crew to initiate an emergency landing procedure. Unable to maintain controlled flight or reach a prepared runway, the aircraft executed a belly landing in a remote desert area located in Lul, northeast of Malakal.
The impact resulted in the destruction of the airframe. A post-crash fire subsequently broke out, consuming the wreckage completely. Despite the severity of the crash and the total loss of the vehicle, there were no fatalities or injuries reported among those on board.
