What happened
During a routine training mission departing from Belgrade, the aircraft encountered a critical mechanical issue involving both powerplants. The double engine failure forced the flight crew to initiate emergency procedures immediately. To maintain control and locate a suitable landing site, the pilot reduced the aircraft's altitude significantly. The crew successfully executed an unpowered belly landing in an open field situated less than two kilometers south of the town of Šabac.
Although the impact resulted in the airframe being damaged beyond repair, the emergency maneuver was effective in preserving life. All three members of the flight crew remained unhurt following the incident.
