Midair Collision Between Two Twin-Engine Aircraft Near Yajalón (XB-YUB)

Incident Overview and Route Details A twin-engine aircraft departed Tuxtla Gutiérrez Airport at 0915 local time for a planned 30-minute flight to Yajalón. During the approach to Yajalón Airport, the aircraft collided with a second aircraft, identified as an Anson registered XB-YUZ and operated by Servicios Aéreos de Chiapas. The second aircraft was inbound from San Cristóbal de Las Casas and was carrying four passengers and a crew of two. ## Crash and Casualties Following the midair collision, both aircraft descended to the ground and crashed in a prairie.
