What happened
During a flight in the state of Rondônia, the crew of a twin-engine airplane encountered unidentified technical complications. These issues necessitated an immediate emergency descent and an attempt to land the aircraft safely. The plane ultimately crash-landed on an embankment situated alongside road BR-364 in the municipality of Extrema.
Following the impact, a fire broke out, which led to the total destruction of the aircraft. Despite the severity of the crash and the subsequent fire, there were no fatalities reported among the passengers and crew. All occupants successfully evacuated the wreckage. The group on board included several officials traveling from Porto Velho, including a Federal Deputy and a City Councilor, along with their respective advisors.
