Incident Overview
A flight operating under registration C-FFLC departed and proceeded en route without any reported issues. Radar and radio contact were maintained until the flight passed over Lake Erie, after which communication was lost. The aircraft did not arrive at its intended destination and is presumed to have crashed into the lake.
Wreckage Recovery
Search efforts located a single identifiable section of floor panel measuring 3 feet by 4 feet. Additionally, two smaller pieces of wreckage were found that may have been portions of C-FFLC. No further debris or remains have been confirmed at this time.
Investigation Status
Official findings classify the event as a missing aircraft during an unknown phase of operation. The probable cause has been determined as undetermined, with no specific reason for the occurrence identified.
