What happened
On September 7, 2004, a Piper PA 28-181 was involved in a fatal aviation accident near Schoppenau, Austria. The aircraft crashed during the course of its flight, resulting in fatalities among the occupants. The impact of the accident led to the total destruction of the aircraft.
The investigation
