What happened
During a scheduled flight departing from Lahore and bound for Peshawar, the aircraft experienced a critical mechanical issue. While en route, the plane suffered an engine failure, which led to a loss of control. The aircraft subsequently descended and crashed in the vicinity of Khewra.
There were 18 fatalities recorded in the accident, as all occupants on board the aircraft perished during the impact. No survivors were reported from the site of the crash.

Official investigations into the accident concluded that the primary factor leading to the loss of control and subsequent crash was an engine failure.
