What happened
Shortly after departing from Olpoi Airport, a twin-engine aircraft entered a fatal descent while in the climbing phase of flight. Approximately seven minutes after the initial takeoff, the aircraft encountered treetops in a hilly, forested area located a short distance from the runway.
Upon impact with the vegetation, the aircraft was destroyed. There were nine fatalities recorded among the occupants of the plane. No survivors were reported from the wreckage.
