What happened

The flight lost sufficient airspeed and entered a stall. Following the loss of control, the aircraft struck a small residential building before plunging into the icy waters of Nanhai Park.

The wreckage was located approximately 2 km from the airport perimeter. The accident resulted in the deaths of all 53 occupants on board the aircraft. Additionally, the impact with the house caused the deaths of two people residing in the structure.
