What happened
During a flight near the southern region of Fuerteventura Island, the aircraft's central engine ceased functioning. This mechanical failure necessitated an immediate emergency descent by the crew. While attempting to manage the loss of power, the aircraft performed a crash landing in the vicinity of Gran Tarosal.
Despite the impact, there were no casualties among the personnel on board. The three crew members escaped the incident without any injuries. However, the structural damage sustained during the landing was severe enough that the aircraft was declared a total loss and deemed beyond repair.
Findings
Investigations into the accident determined that the primary factor leading to the emergency landing was an engine failure in flight.
