Incident Overview
Two Casa 352 aircraft collided in unclear circumstances while flying in a formation of nine aircraft near the airbase at Murcia-Alcantarilla. The aircraft were engaged in a local training mission. Each aircraft carried nine paratroopers and two pilots, totaling 11 occupants per aircraft.

Events During the Descent

Fatalities
All three other occupants on board T.2B-229, as well as all 11 occupants on board the second aircraft, were killed. The eight skydivers who bailed out from T.2B-229 survived the incident.
