What happened
Following its departure from Kilindoni Airport, a single-engine airplane experienced a catastrophic failure that led to a crash. The accident occurred during the initial climb phase of the flight. Upon impact, the aircraft was consumed by a fire that resulted in the total destruction of the airframe.
Despite the intensity of the post-crash fire, all nine people on board managed to exit the cabin safely. Medical personnel responded to the scene, where six individuals were treated for injuries sustained during the event. Those injured were subsequently moved to a nearby hospital for further care.
