What happened
While operating a flight from Porlamar to Canaima, the flight crew notified air traffic control of mechanical difficulties involving the engines. In response to the reported engine problems, the aircraft was granted permission to divert to Tocomita for an emergency landing.
During the final approach phase at Tocomita, the aircraft experienced a stall. This resulted in the plane striking trees approximately 100 meters before reaching the runway. The impact caused the total destruction of the aircraft.
