What happened
During a flight near Marabá, the crew encountered significant difficulties involving the aircraft's engine. Due to these ongoing engine problems, the crew determined that an emergency landing was necessary. They executed a controlled ditching on the surface of the Río Tocantins.
While the impact resulted in the aircraft being damaged beyond repair, there were no fatalities reported. The incident involved a total of three passengers, all of whom remained unhurt during the event. However, the three crew members sustained injuries during the emergency procedure and subsequent landing.
