What happened
The aircraft was operating a cargo flight between Mohanbari and Kunming, China. During the en-route phase, the plane crashed into a mountainous area within Arunachal Pradesh. Search and rescue teams conducted operations for several days but were unable to locate any debris or trace of the missing aircraft, leading to the suspension of efforts.
Years later, in 1962, local hunters discovered the wreckage on a steep slope near the village of Goliang. The site was located at an altitude of approximately 12,000 feet, with debris scattered roughly 400 feet from the summit. The accident resulted in the deaths of all four individuals on board.
The crew consisted of a captain serving as pilot, a lieutenant acting as copilot, a radio operator, and an engineer. No survivors were reported from this incident.
