What happened
During a scheduled cargo operation within Vietnamese airspace, the flight crew encountered a critical technical malfunction. Unable to maintain control of the aircraft, the team initiated an emergency ejection procedure to abandon the machine. The uncontrolled airframe subsequently descended into the Mekong Valley, where it impacted the terrain. The collision forces resulted in the total destruction of the aircraft structure. Remarkably, all five occupants ejected successfully and sustained no injuries during the incident.
Findings
Investigations identified an unknown technical failure as the primary factor leading to the loss of control. No specific mechanical component or system fault was definitively isolated in the available records.
