What happened
The aircraft was being transported from Kinloss to Witney specifically to undergo a major maintenance inspection. During this ferry flight, the pilot experienced technical difficulties related to the engine performance. In response to these issues, the pilot initiated an emergency landing procedure. The attempt resulted in a crash near Kippen, causing significant damage that rendered the airframe beyond repair. Despite the severity of the impact, the pilot successfully evacuated the wreckage and sustained no injuries.
