Incident Details
The aircraft departed San Vicente del Caguán on a cargo flight to Bogotá-El Dorado Airport. On board were two passengers, three crew members, and a load consisting of 12 calves. When the airplane failed to arrive in Bogotá, search and rescue operations were initiated.
Wreckage Discovery
One week later, the wreckage was located on the slope of Mt Mirador, situated in the Cordillera de Los Picachos National Park, State of Meta. All five occupants and all 12 animals were killed.
Investigation
The investigation into the accident is ongoing. No probable cause has been stated.
