What happened
During the final approach phase toward Đồng Hới Airport, the aircraft suffered a loss of power due to an engine failure. In response to the mechanical malfunction, the crew attempted to execute an emergency landing procedure.
However, the flight could not be completed as planned, and the aircraft impacted a field situated in the Nam Bắc region. The site of the crash was located approximately 4 km north of the airport perimeter. While the impact resulted in the aircraft being damaged beyond repair, both members of the crew escaped the incident uninjured.
