What happened
During the takeoff phase of flight, the aircraft completed a ground roll of approximately 450 meters before the pilot-in-command initiated rotation. Immediately upon liftoff, the aircraft experienced a significant left bank, which led to the left wing making contact with the terrain. This impact caused the aircraft to lose control and undergo a cartwheel motion, ultimately resulting in a crash and an ensuing fire.
Despite the intensity of the accident, all 25 occupants successfully evacuated the wreckage without sustaining any injuries. The aircraft itself was completely destroyed during the event.
Findings
Investigations into the accident revealed that the crew did not adhere to the required pre-takeoff checklists. Consequently, the aircraft was not properly configured for departure, which contributed to the loss of control during the transition from ground roll to flight.
