What happened
During an approach to Guanambi Airport, a twin engine aircraft encountered challenging meteorological conditions characterized by low visibility and adverse weather. While the flight was descending at an altitude of 3,400 feet, the plane impacted the side of Mt Taquari. The collision occurred in the vicinity of Caetité, situated approximately 35 km northeast of the intended destination.
The impact resulted in the total destruction of the airframe. There were 12 fatalities among the occupants of the aircraft, with no survivors reported from the crash site.
