What happened
Following its departure from Vitória da Conquista Airport, a twin engine airplane experienced significant issues maintaining altitude during its initial climb. While attempting to ascend, the aircraft entered a stall and impacted the ground approximately 2 km from the runway threshold.
The accident resulted in two fatalities, as both pilots on board were killed in the crash.
Findings
While investigators were unable to establish an official cause for the accident, evidence suggests that the pilot may have attempted a low-altitude maneuver over a nearby residence. It is believed that this action led to the loss of control during the climb phase.
