A scheduled flight from Belgrade to Venice crashed into the sea during a night approach in poor visibility, resulting in the deaths of all five people on board.

What happened

The incident involved an aircraft operating a scheduled service between Belgrade and Venice. At the time of the accident, there were four crew members and one passenger aboard the plane. During the final approach phase at night, the pilot faced reduced visibility conditions caused by mist. While maneuvering at an altitude of approximately 100 feet, the pilot initiated a left turn. This action resulted in the left wingtip striking the water surface, which led to the aircraft crashing into the sea. The wreckage was located the following morning, situated roughly 500 meters offshore. All five occupants on board were killed in the accident.
