What happened

During an approach to runway 23 at Lourenço Marques Airport, the aircraft experienced a loss of control while flying at low speed. At the time of the incident, the landing gear was extended and the right propeller had been feathered. Following this period of low-speed flight, the plane entered a right bank and impacted the ground. The wreckage was located approximately 450 meters to the right of the runway and 750 meters from the runway threshold. The impact resulted in a post-crash fire that completely destroyed the aircraft. There were four fatalities among the occupants.
